What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. They let the site remember things between pages and visits — that you're signed in, or what you chose in a banner. They're standard across the web, and on their own they're neither good nor bad; what matters is what a site uses them for.

How we use cookies

We keep it simple. This site uses two kinds of cookies: essential cookies that the site needs to function, and analytics cookies that help us understand how the site is used — and the analytics kind runs only with your consent.

Essential cookies

Essential cookies are always on, because the site can't do its job without them. They are used for:

  • Keeping you signed in to the Customer Portal during a session.
  • Security — protecting forms and sign-in against abuse.
  • Remembering the choice you made in the cookie consent banner, so we don't ask you on every visit.

Analytics cookies — only with your consent

Analytics cookies tell us, in aggregate, how the site is used: which pages people visit, how they arrived and where they lose interest. We use that to improve the site — not to identify you, and not to sell or share your browsing with advertisers.

These cookies are set only after you choose to accept them in the consent banner. If you decline, the site works exactly the same — we just see less about how it's used.

The consent banner

On your first visit you'll see a banner asking whether you're happy for us to use analytics cookies. Nothing beyond essential cookies is set until you've made a choice, and declining is always one click — no guilt trips, no maze of toggles.

Changing your mind

Your choice isn't permanent. You can change it at any time using the cookie settings link on this site, or by clearing this site's cookies in your browser — the banner will simply appear again on your next visit and ask fresh.

Your browser also lets you block or delete cookies for any site. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site — such as the Customer Portal sign-in — from working.

Third-party cookies

When you pay an invoice through the Customer Portal, our payment processor Stripe may set cookies needed to process the payment securely and prevent fraud — these operate under Stripe's own policies.

If you consent to analytics, our analytics tooling may set cookies on this site for the measurement purposes described above.

More information

How we handle personal information more broadly — including analytics data — is covered in our Privacy Policy.
