Our commitment
At Digital Systems Aus Pty Ltd (DigiSys), our workplace policies reflect our commitment to operational excellence, employee well-being and unwavering client dedication. We foster a transparent, inclusive and adaptive environment so that every team member thrives and every client benefits from our collective efficiency and enthusiasm.
These policies apply to all directors, employees and contractors, and operate alongside — never instead of — our obligations under Australian law and each person's employment or engagement terms.
Employment standards and entitlements
We meet or exceed the National Employment Standards under the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth), including maximum weekly hours, requests for flexible working arrangements, leave entitlements (annual, personal/carer's, compassionate, parental, long service and family and domestic violence leave) and notice of termination.
Pay and conditions are set with reference to any applicable modern award, and records are kept as required by the Fair Work Regulations.
Work health and safety
We take our duties under work health and safety legislation (including the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 in the states where we operate) seriously — whether staff are at our office, working from home under our hybrid model, or on site with customers.
Everyone is expected to take reasonable care for their own safety and that of others, follow reasonable safety instructions, and report hazards, incidents and near-misses promptly so they can be addressed.
Respect, inclusion and anti-discrimination
We maintain a workplace free from discrimination, bullying, harassment (including sexual harassment) and victimisation, consistent with the Fair Work Act, the Sex Discrimination Act 1984 (Cth), Racial Discrimination Act 1975 (Cth), Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (Cth), Age Discrimination Act 2004 (Cth) and applicable state law.
We also comply with the positive duty under the Sex Discrimination Act to take reasonable and proportionate measures to eliminate unlawful conduct as far as possible. Concerns are handled promptly, fairly and as confidentially as practicable, with no tolerance for retaliation.
Professional presentation
First impressions matter. When visiting clients, our team follows a semi-formal dress code that represents our dedication to professionalism.
Travel and client visits
Client visits are facilitated using company vehicles, emphasising consistency, reliability and a seamless experience for the businesses we serve. Drivers must hold a current licence, drive safely and lawfully, and never drive impaired or fatigued.
Communication and record-keeping
We believe in clear, efficient communication. Client interactions and internal communications are organised and managed through our integrated CRM and email platforms, so commitments are recorded, handovers are smooth and nothing falls through the cracks.
Hybrid and flexible work
We operate a hybrid workspace model: our team works from our office, customer locations or home as the work requires. This flexibility keeps us attuned to client needs while fostering balance, collaboration and adaptability.
Eligible employees may request flexible working arrangements under the National Employment Standards; requests are considered genuinely and answered in writing within the statutory timeframe.
Information security, confidentiality and acceptable use
As a technology and cybersecurity company, we hold ourselves to the standards we recommend to customers: multi-factor authentication, least-privilege access, prompt patching and secure handling of credentials and customer data.
Company systems are used responsibly and primarily for business purposes. Customer information, personal information and commercially sensitive material are kept confidential during and after employment, and personal information is handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and our Privacy Policy.
Raising concerns
Anyone can raise a question, complaint or grievance — about safety, conduct, pay or anything else — with a director, and it will be looked into fairly and without reprisal. Where the law provides protections for whistleblowers, we honour them.
